Mr. David H. Jones has 25 years of combined executive leadership experience in sales, marketing and operations working for GTE (Verizon), Telecom USA, MCI and ITC Holding Company. David displays a passionate entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional instincts, leadership skills, and he delivers results.

In March 2000, David co-founded Peak 10, Inc., a leading independent data center operator and managed cloud services provider. Currently serving as its chairman and CEO, David led Peak 10 to a top market position with one of the industry’s strongest balance sheets and income statements. In 2014, his company was acquired by GI Partners, a San Francisco based private equity firm.

Prior to co-founding Peak 10, David served as president of the Competitive Solutions Group at CHR Solutions, a telecommunications management-consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas. He was part of the leadership team at Telcom*USA and later MCI prior to CHR Solutions.

Active in the community, David works tirelessly to support technology companies throughout North Carolina. He was the 2009 chairman of the North Carolina Technology Association Board of Directors and served on the Executive Committee since 2008. He also served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and is the former Chairman of the Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) Council. Currently, David serves on the Board of Trustees at Queens University and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Steele Creek YMCA in Charlotte.

David received numerous professional distinctions including the Blue Diamonds’ IT Executive of the year in 2015 Business Person of the Year for 2010 presented by the Charlotte Business Journal, Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented by the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and the Trailblazer Award presented by the Metrolina Entrepreneurial Council. He has been recognized numerous times by Charlotte Business Leader magazine, and in 2009, David was recognized as the Business Leader of the Year in the technology category.
