The Fund

By tailoring its programming and services to high-growth organizations, the CRFE is nurturing the region’s entreprenuerial ecosystem and enterprises, ultimately creating more jobs and wealth for the Charlotte region.
The CRFE is uniquely positioned as Charlotte’s bridge between public and private resources and nonprofits serving high-growth entrepreneurs.

Focused on funding entrepreneurship.
The CRFE is the only entrepreneurial non-profit that has received the financial backing of both the City of Charlotte and the Foundation For The Carolinas. No other organization has previously had the ability and momentum to fundraise and support entrepreneurial programs.

Focused on catalyzing innovative, relevant programming.
The CRFE has the unique ability to proactively sponsor new and specialized programming that the region might not get otherwise. Embracing its “flexibility to act,” the CRFE supports emerging models that promise cutting-edge and relevant assistance for entrepreneurs.

Focused on building capacity within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The CRFE is the only organization building entrepreneurial strength across the region, prioritizing where there are gaps and needs. The CRFE avoids duplication of existing efforts.
